Azure AI Search

This MCP is not yet compatible with Highlight's one-click setup. However, you can still use it with Highlight by following these steps:

1. 1Download and install Highlight from highlightai.com/download
2. 2Navigate to the plugins tab and select "Add Custom Plugin"

   Configure the plugin with the following settings:

   Plugin Name:

   Azure AI Search

   Command (node, npx, python, etc.):

   C:\path\to\.venv\Scripts\python.exe

   Environment Variables:

   Key:

   AI_SEARCH_INDEX_NAME

   Value:

   your-index-name

   Key:

   BING_CONNECTION_NAME

   Value:

   your-bing-connection-name

   Key:

   MODEL_DEPLOYMENT_NAME

   Value:

   your-model-deployment-name

   Key:

   AI_SEARCH_CONNECTION_NAME

   Value:

   your-search-connection-name

   Key:

   PROJECT_CONNECTION_STRING

   Value:

   your-project-connection-string

   Note: Environment variables are stored locally and never sent to cloud services.

   Arguments:

   Argument 1:

   C:\path\to\azure_ai_agent_service_server.py

   Please refer to the README for specific instructions on how to obtain API keys or other required environment variables.

4. 4Enable "Start Automatically" if you want the plugin to start when Highlight launches
