MiniMax-MCP

This MCP is not yet compatible with Highlight's one-click setup. However, you can still use it with Highlight by following these steps:

1. 1Download and install Highlight from highlightai.com/download
2. 2Navigate to the plugins tab and select "Add Custom Plugin"

   Configure the plugin with the following settings:

   Plugin Name:

   MiniMax-MCP

   Command (node, npx, python, etc.):

   uvx

   Environment Variables:

   Key:

   MINIMAX_API_KEY

   Value:

   insert-your-api-key-here

   Key:

   MINIMAX_API_HOST

   Value:

   api host, https://api.minimax.io | https://api.minimaxi.com

   Key:

   MINIMAX_MCP_BASE_PATH

   Value:

   local-output-dir-path, such as /User/xxx/Desktop

   Key:

   MINIMAX_API_RESOURCE_MODE

   Value:

   optional, [url|local], url is default, audio/image/video are downloaded locally or provided in URL format

   Note: Environment variables are stored locally and never sent to cloud services.

   Arguments:

   Argument 1:

   minimax-mcp

   Argument 2:

   -y

   Please refer to the README for specific instructions on how to obtain API keys or other required environment variables.

4. 4Enable "Start Automatically" if you want the plugin to start when Highlight launches
